TALK: Martin Elliott, grandson of revered plantsman Clarence Elliott, who was the artist John Nash’s (1893-1977) best friend will give a talk on his memories of John Nash and his grandfather’s friendship.  This will take place at Sam Wilson Shop, The Square where there will be a number of John Nash’s watercolours, rarely been seen by the public before, and memorabilia such as printing blocks and personal Christmas cards. This will be followed by a short talk from Venetia Lascelles giving an insight into John Nash’s artistic career.
